M Polish: You Are My Symphony

***Press Sample***

Quick post for your all this morning as I have a sick toddler today :(  Tis the season of coughs, sneezes, and wheezes!  I feel like there's some kind of catchy song there...

Today I have one of 7 new M Polish stamping polishes to show you and it is a limited edition charity polish for a sweet 16 year old boy named Kent who suffered a stroke - yes, a stroke - and is (to my knowledge) still in the hospital.  You can read the full story over on the Pish Posh Polish blog.

The charity polish is called "You Are My Symphony:"

This stunner is a blackish red with a hint of holo and is limited to 150 bottles total (75 of each size) - once these are gone, they're gone!  You can purchase the 15ml full size at $10.50 or the 5ml mini size at $4.25 HERE.  50% of the proceeds from the sale of this polish will be going to help Kent and his family during this recovery.

You should most definitely head on over ASAP to pick one of these up!!  And stay tuned - I will have posts of the other 6 polishes released today later on this week!  And they all have holo ;)

Polish was sent to me by the maker for photography purposes and honest review.  My opinions and experience with the polish remain 100% honest and are unique to me.

To Have and To Holo

***Press Sample***

Monday.

Source: Here

Let's not dwell on the downers - let's talk instead about an absolutely amazing new stamping polish from M Polish called "To Have and To Holo."

Oh yes, no poop about it - this is a HOLOGRAPHIC STAMPING POLISH.  Not a holographic nail polish that just happens to stamp - oh no.  This baby is a holo STAMPING polish, and let me tell you, it's just as impressive as previous M Polish stampers - but more stunning, and good for the soul, because it's Holoooooooooooooo!!!

LOOK AT IT!!!!!!!!!

Pardon me while I wipe the drool off my face.

Sun shot - the Holo Gods are pleased with this one.

I just...I can't even, this polish is just perfect.  Easy application, smooth, transferred with no trouble - at this point, it's the same old song and dance as all other M Polishes.  Perfection <3

For my mani I did a base of Orly "Teal Unreal" and stamped over it using an image from my MoYou London Pro Plate 05.  The charm on my middle finger is from Ali Express, and I added the peacock feather behind it - I have a bunch from a farmer that has a free-range roamin' peacock on her property.

Seriously, if you don't want this polish, we need to have a chat...in a room, with a professional, like a therapist.  Or a neurologist.

Currently, To Have and To Holo is out of stock, but according to the update on the shop's page, after pre-orders are all finished shipping out, she is hoping to re-stock by the end of the month, which is like two weeks away.  You can like the Facebook Page or (better yet) join the Fan Group for more updates on this polish and future polishes.

So...you're getting this, right??

Lucky Duck

***Press Sample...Sort Of***

So this post was originally going to be Part 1 of a press sample for the amazing M Polish stamping polish.  However, she was having some formula issues with most of the colors in her upcoming new collection, and decided to scrap all but the black and white ones (which I will show you on Thursday!).  I had already done two designs using two of the colors she has cancelled launching, so I thought I'd just share the manis with you, because I'm rather fond of how they turned out!

The original collection consisted of five polishes, four of them named for the type of ducks the maker raises.  The first of those is a brown called "Rouen."  They look like this:

I've seen these ducks everywhere - there are even some here in Phoenix I think.  I find them very handsome and sweet :)  I particularly love the patterning on the chest feathers.  I chose to stamp using a design that very closely emanates that pattern:

The design came from one of my Flowers stamping plates.  The feather on the middle finger is a real duck feather (I collect them from the pond by my house after the ducks shed their coats - totally humane, I promise :D ).  The base color is "Pekin," the white polish that is available now.

The other design I created using "Blue Swedish" - the ducks look like this:

I love the iridescent green of the head and neck feathers - so pretty!!!  Here's the design I came up with for this polish:

His name is Hector ^_^

I used some feather images from a Born Pretty stamping plate and freehand painted the duck.  All of the art is done over a basic yellow creme polish.

The white (Pekin) and black (Cayuga) stamping polish ARE available now for $9.50 for the 15ml full size and $3.25 for the 5ml mini.  I will have more designs using just those two later on in the week :)
What do you think of these designs?  Do you have an affinity for duckies? :D

While the launch of the colored polishes used are TBD, they were sent to me by the maker for photography and art purposes.  All opinions and art are my own.

MPolish Metallic Collection

***Press Sample***

Howdy folks!!  Today I've got 4 of the 6 new metallic stamping polishes just released by M Polish to show you!

First up is "Guilded:"

Guilded is a lovely gold metallic, shown here stamped over Zoya "Kierra" using an image from my MoYou London Geek plate 05.

Next we have "Bronze:"

Bronze is as its name suggests and is shown over Zoya "Hunter" using images from MoYou London Geek plate 03 and hand placed watch parts.

Next is "Baroque:"

Baroque is a lovely deep burgundy metallic shown over watermarbled "Bells of Ireland" and "Snowberry" (also by MPolish) and stamped using an image from Pueen plate 73.

Lastly we have "Iron:"

Iron is a dark silver/iron metallic polish shown (along with Guilded on the ring finger) over Pretty & Polished's "Sea Spray" using the Gallifreyan image from MoYou London Geek Plate 05.

I am never disappointed when using these stamping polishes - they are so ridiculously easy to work with!  I love that they cooperate with more than just one kind of stamper, as well.

There are six polishes in total (not shown is Copper, a penny colored metallic, and Elizabethan, a dark brown metallic).  You can purchase them individually at $9.50 for the 15ml full size, or $3.25 for the 5ml mini size.  You can also purchase the whole set for $54.00 for the 15ml full size, or $18.00 for the 5ml mini size.

What do you think of these?  Do you own any MPolish stamping polishes?

Press Sample: New M Polish Colors!

***Press Sample***

This Tuesday is soooo acting like a Monday for me :P  Let's talk about some polish to make it better ^_^

I received four of the seven new colors released yesterday by M Polish, and let me tell you, they are all STUNNERS!!!  If you didn't already know, M Polish is a 5-free indie brand specializing in premium quality stamping polish.  Truth be told, it is the most unique, beautiful, and easy to work with stamping polish I've come across yet!

Her new collection is called "Polish of My People" and she named each of the 7 colors after some of her nail friends that have not only been enablers in polish buying, but also very supportive of her polish making :)  Let's take a look at the four colors I received, shall we?

First up - "Pish Plashin' Around:"

Pish Plashin' Around is a gorgeous bright blue polish.  Depending on your computer/phone, this polish may look more blurple (it does on my phone for some reason, no matter how hard I tried to tweak it).  As you can see in the macro, this polish hugged every curve and detail in the butterfly and the plant, leaving no naked space when transferred!  I am wearing it as a base on my middle and ring, and for the stamped imaged on my pointer and pink.  The white polish in the photos is "Snowberry" from her Spring collection.

Next is "I Need A Vacation:"

I Need A Vacation is a beautiful burnt red polish that, as you can see from the photos, also does an excellent job transferring ALL detail from intricate images - check out the hummingbird's beak!!  Amazing!!  For the background, I watermarbled Snowberry and Annette (from the Mama Loves Polish duo), then stamped over it :)

Here is "Fresh Perspective:"

Fresh Perspective is a lovely bright pink color that stamps as perfectly as the others :)  I wanted to go with a more funky and fun design for this polish, and it gave me the opportunity to finally use one of my fun HeHe plates!

Last up is "Hottie:"

Hottie is a bright orange polish, with the same application as the rest.  I watermarbled Snowberry and Starflower together from the Spring collection, and stamped Hottie over using images from the Sailor #7 plate by MoYou London (my first MYL plate ever, received as a gift ^_^ ).  I love these little fishies, and how this looks like an underwater scene!  The detail that came through with each fish is fantastic - this polish truly is remarkable, I can't say it enough!!

The full collection launched yesterday and is still available and in stock right now!  Price for the 11ml full collection is $43, and for the 5ml minis $21.  Individual prices are $6.50 for 11ml, and $3.50 for minis.  Here are some links for you:
