Blogging has been like having children- you blink and then another year has gone by. It's incredible!
To celebrate 2 years of blogging, I wanted to create a prize that consisted of items from some of my favorite indie brands that I have worked with over my blogging career thus far.
Side comment real quick - one of the things I love most about the majority of indie makers is the generosity I have experienced and the stellar customer service. I consider myself very fortunate to have worked with such wonderful people who truly do love making polish not for the money (though that's a nice perk) but for the artistry of it. It's fun!! And I love being a part of that :)
I say this because I experienced even more generosity when approaching 4 of my favorite brands to create custom prizes for this giveaway. All 4 brands donated the prizes - they did not want money, they wanted to donate it to support my blog. That just blew me away, their generosity completely touched my heart <3 Wonderful people!
So, let's get to the goooooods!!!
The first item in the prize package is a custom polish by Gothic Gala Lacquers called "The Irish Mermaid:"
The Irish Mermaid is a gorgeous green duo chrome with beautiful blurple flakies throughout. Opaque in 2-3 coats (depends on how thick you apply). I asked her to create a green chrome with flakies, and she really delivered!! SO GORGEOUS! Swatches coming this week!
The second is a custom stamping polish duo by M Polish. The polishes are "Mister E" and "Holo, Multi, & Chrome:"
Mister E is a beautiful royal blue holo made to emulate the royal blue of a peacock's head and body. Holo, Multi, & Chrome came out of the brilliant mind of the M Polish creator, Megan, and is a stunning holographic multichrome meant to emulate the various colors of a peacock and the shiftiness off the feathers :D Swatches with stamping art coming this week!
The third part is a custom Holographic helmer sticker by Green Goddess Creations that says, "Holo All The Things," and a set of mermaid waterslide decals (not pictured; also, the decals were not custom made for me - I purchased them to go into the prize package).
You don't have to put the sticker on a helmer, either - I put mine in my River Song nail journal :D Nail art using the decals coming next week!
The fourth part is a custom cuticle oil by Smokey Mountain Lacquers in the scent of Sweet Pea and Jasmine:
These are my two favorite floral scents and they smell absolutely amazing together!! And Kim's cuticle oil is some of the best I've come across as it doesn't leave an oily feeling behind and soaks into the skin very nicely. It has saved my cuticles on a number of occasions, especially during swatch sessions :D
And finally, the fifth part is not a custom, but a soap made by one of my good friends in Michigan. She's been making soap for years and has built quite a spectacular business around it!
RULES: Only two - absolutely no giveaway accounts (yes, I check) and no following and dropping if you don't win - not cool, man. I write these people down and you will be barred from entering in the future.
I'm running this giveaway for 30 days with lots of chances to win! A few of the options you can do daily for extra entries, too! Check out the Rafflecopter below and enter to win!!!
