Faeries & Folklore's "For Your Wooing Pleasure" Collection + April's MOTM

***Press Sample***

Well that title was a mouthful!

Seriously though, I have some downright gorgeous beauties to show you from Faeries & Folklore, so let's get right to it!

Meet the "For Your Wooing Pleasure" collection!

Very appropriately named, yes?  Let's start with some swatches!  Note: all polishes have a scattered holographic effect, and all are shown in the photos at 3 coats with no topcoat.

First up: "Charmingly Charismatic"

Charmingly Charismatic is a nice yellow/citrine color with brilliant green chrome flakies.

Next: "Enchanting Entrancement"

Enchanting Entrancement is a lovely light purple-y silver with violet chrome flakies.

Next: "Selectively Seductive"

Selectively Seductive is a brilliant frosty mint green with an emerald green shimmer and green/violet chrome flakies.

And lastly we have "Valiantly Visionary"

Valiantly Visionary is a lovely light pink with beautiful peacock blue chrome flakies and a blue shimmer.

Along with the Wooing Pleasure collection, Faeries & Folklore is also releasing April's Myth of the Month polish - so you can snag it when you get these ;)  April's MOTM is "Dragon Scales:"

Well of COURSE I nestled it with all my dragon eggs - duh!!  It's called DRAGON SCALES - and I like showing off my pretty dragon egg creations.  So there.

Here, have some swatches:

No, that's not a stamp or vinyl stencil on my ring finger - I hand painted those.  GET A STAMP OR VINYL STENCIL - holy crap, those scales took FOREVER.

Dragon Scales is a seriously awesome polish - a nice olive-green with an emerald green shimmer, subtle scattered holo shimmer, AND iridescent glitters.  Oh my stars, this one catches the light really well - it was extremely distracting during push-ups at my taekwondo lesson yesterday.

So where can you purchase all of these beauties?  Here:

What do you think of this collection?  How about April's Myth of the Month?  Let me know in the comments below ;)

Amy's Untried Challenge: Dots

Hello all!  Wanted to share with you the first design from a new challenge I'm doing on Instagram called "Amy's Untried Challenge."

It is hosted by "AmyLovesNewWave" and "AmyyLyn" and the idea is that you use at least one polish you own that you've never tried before (a.k.a. an "untried") for each of these themes.  It's a GREAT way to finally use all those beautiful polishes I've purchased and haven't had time to try yet!!

So for Day 1's challenge of Dots, I used this photo I took at the Seattle Sculpture Park as a reference:

And here is my design:

I used all of the new Spring colors just released by Model City Polish and the Black Friday Trio by Ellagee.  The white dots are acrylic paint :)  I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out!  What do you all think?
