M Polish Winter 2015 Collection - Part 2

***Press Sample***

I'd offer a clever meme for today, but most of the "funny" Wednesday ones either contained a very annoying Camel or some grotesque image I really, really didn't need to see...

So!  On we go to drool over the remaining 3 polishes in the new Winter 2015 collection by M Polishes!

Please note that I wore OPI's Nail Envy as a base coat and Digital Nails Ain't Nobody Got Time For That topcoat in each photo.

First up: Figgy

Figgy is a lovely purple jewel-toned scattered holographic polish.  I wore it here over Zoya's "Tiana" using images from JQ-L09 plate and owl charms on my ring finger from Daily Charme.

Next up: Joy

Joy is a gorgeous blue jewel-toned scattered holographic polish shown here stamped over Zoya's "Lillian" (and Lillian stamped over Joy on my middle and ring fingers) using an image from Sailor plate 07 by MoYou London.  The ship and sea dragons are freehanded.

Last up: Cranberry

Cranberry is a nice maroon jewel-toned scattered holographic polish, shown here over Chick Polish "Doll Face" using images from Pro plate 05 by MoYou London and a butterfly charm from Daily Charme.

I love love LOVE the sparkle in all three of these!!  Cranberry even seems to flash a little blue in some angles!  They're really gorgeous, and the scattered holo effect really makes them stand out as a stamping polish from the rest.  I definitely recommend picking these up!  Here are some links for you:

M Polish will be having a Black Friday sale and will be re-stocking a lot of the sold out products - so if you've seen one from this or yesterday's post that is currently sold out, stay tuned!!  The only polish NOT applicable to the sale is the charity polish You Are My Symphony.  There are more details on the sale on the IG page.

What do you think of these three?  Do any of them strike your fancy most?  Let me know in the comments!

HPB Presents Fall!

***Contains Previous Press Samples from M Polish***

Metaphorically speaking, of course.  Still getting into the high 90's here.  I feel your pain, Spongebob.

For this month, the lovely group Hobby Polish Bloggers on Facebook has put together another link-up with the theme "Fall."  It was hard for me to figure out what I wanted to do - freehand?  Watermarble?  Stamp?

Ah!  Yes!  Stamp!!  I purchased the Secret Garden plate set from Bundle Monster a while ago, and knew I wanted to use one of those plates.  I also knew which Pahlish I wanted for the base, as it was one of the first colors that popped into my head as a fantastic Fall background - "The White Tree."  And I used 3 M Polish colors, because of course!  They're the best after all ;)

With The White Tree as my base, I stamped the leaf images from the tree onto my nails using a mix of Penny (prototype), I Need A Vacation, and Guilded all dotted over the leaves.

It created the perfect fall leaf color mix!!  I'm so glad it turned out!!  And it happened to match one of my favorite fall sweatercoats very well ^_^

Here's a macro of each nail

I love this mani!!  I love it so much that I decided to leave this mani on for a few days :D  What?  Crazy!!

Be sure to check out the other beautiful manis from other HPB members through the inlinkz below!!

Lucky Duck

***Press Sample...Sort Of***

So this post was originally going to be Part 1 of a press sample for the amazing M Polish stamping polish.  However, she was having some formula issues with most of the colors in her upcoming new collection, and decided to scrap all but the black and white ones (which I will show you on Thursday!).  I had already done two designs using two of the colors she has cancelled launching, so I thought I'd just share the manis with you, because I'm rather fond of how they turned out!

The original collection consisted of five polishes, four of them named for the type of ducks the maker raises.  The first of those is a brown called "Rouen."  They look like this:

I've seen these ducks everywhere - there are even some here in Phoenix I think.  I find them very handsome and sweet :)  I particularly love the patterning on the chest feathers.  I chose to stamp using a design that very closely emanates that pattern:

The design came from one of my Flowers stamping plates.  The feather on the middle finger is a real duck feather (I collect them from the pond by my house after the ducks shed their coats - totally humane, I promise :D ).  The base color is "Pekin," the white polish that is available now.

The other design I created using "Blue Swedish" - the ducks look like this:

I love the iridescent green of the head and neck feathers - so pretty!!!  Here's the design I came up with for this polish:

His name is Hector ^_^

I used some feather images from a Born Pretty stamping plate and freehand painted the duck.  All of the art is done over a basic yellow creme polish.

The white (Pekin) and black (Cayuga) stamping polish ARE available now for $9.50 for the 15ml full size and $3.25 for the 5ml mini.  I will have more designs using just those two later on in the week :)
What do you think of these designs?  Do you have an affinity for duckies? :D

While the launch of the colored polishes used are TBD, they were sent to me by the maker for photography and art purposes.  All opinions and art are my own.
