It's still hot, FYI. We'll just leave it at that, I feel like I'm beating a dead horse.
Today I've got the October birthstone polish by Bellaluna Cosmetics to show you! It's called "Fauxpal" and it's based off the Opal birthstone.
Fauxpal is a sheer white packed with large solid white flakies and tons and tons of rainbow shimmer - it very much resembles an opal! Despite the larger flakes, this still applied quite smoothly and evened out with each layer. I am wearing three coats in the photos above with a topcoat for added shine and to really make that rainbow shimmer pop! Because the formula is a tad thicker in order to keep the flakies suspended and not falling to the bottom, this did take a little longer to dry, and also dried to a very light texture. However, a quick-dry topcoat (in this case, Pahlish's Magic Mirror) smoothed everything out, and I was able to do normal things with no damage to the polish after 10 minutes of dry time.
You can get this beauty at Bellaluna's new shop HERE. You can also follow the Facebook Page and Instagram for updates on current and upcoming releases.
What do you think of this polish? Are you an October baby, or a fan of opals?

Bellaluna's Fall Collection
***Press Sample***
Happy Labor Day! I've got a gorgeous Fall collection by Bellaluna Cosmetics to show you, and it's gonna make you want Autumn even more :)
Let's start with Autumn Woodlands:
Left is macro with shiny topcoat, right is with matte
Autumn Woodlands is a gorgeous pumpkin orange that subtly leans yellow, with gold flakies throughout. Opaque in 1-2 coats, depending on how thick you apply it.
Next up is Frosted Eggplant:
Frosted Eggplant is a gorgeous deep purple jelly loaded with various flakies and glitters throughout. This one is opaque in 2-3 coats.
Here we have Near Dark:
Two words: one-coater. That's right, this is a one-coater charcoal grey/black polish with silver flecks throughout. Perfection!!
This is Spanish Moss:
Spanish moss is a mossy, almost army green that leans grey at certain angles. It has a brilliant gold shimmer throughout. This one is opaque in 1-2 coats.
And lastly we have Sparkling Cranberry:
Sparkling Cranberry is a stunning cranberry red with muticolored flakies and a scattered holographic shimmer throughout - and guess what? Another one-coater for me ;) I'm really glad I swatched this one last, because I didn't take it off for days. It's seriously quite a stunner!
This entire collection wowed me, from the beautiful crisp Autumn colors to the easy and smooth application of the polishes. I love that most of them don't really require more than 2 coats to be opaque, too, and that they all dried in under five minutes. This collection is definitely a PERFECT collection for Fall!!
This collection launched last night at midnight. You can purchase the full set HERE and individual polishes either on the links above or HERE. You can also follow Bellaluna's Facebook Page and Instagram for more swatch photos of this collection, as well as sneak peaks into future releases!
Does this collection bring Fall to mind for you? What do you think?

Bellaluna's Royal Heirloom
***Press Sample***
Raise your hand if this is you today, because this is definitely going to be me *yawns.* (And yes, I am aware today is Tuesday :P )
To stave of a case of the Tireds, I have another lovely birthstone polish to show you from Bellaluna Cosmetics! This is her September one, and it is called Royal Heirloom:
Royal Heirloom is a sapphire blue jelly packed to the brim with iridescent blue and micro sapphire hex flakies. Opaque in two generous coats, it dries to a mostly shiny finish, though I added an extra layer of KBShimmer's Clearly On Top to really bring out the sparkle in those flakies. This is definitely in my top 3 favorites of her birthstone polishes!
Royal Heirloom is available now HERE at $9.50 for the 15ml full size. And here are the shop's social links:
What do you think? Any September baby's here? :D

Press Sample: Bellaluna Cosmetics Bohemian Collection
***Press Sample***
Note: All swatch photos are 2 coats unless states otherwise, and have one layer of HKGirl Glisten & Glow topcoat.
First up is "Gypsy:"
Gypsy is a muted magenta polish with a strong golden shimmer and a very subtle holographic effect.
Next up is "Metanoia:"
Metanoia is a gorgeous topper packed with teal and fuchsia metallic flakies in a holographic base. Shown above is one coat over Gypsy with no topcoat.
Next is "Sunset in Paradise:"
Sunset in Paradise is a bright orange jelly with an added orange sparkle. This polish is the most sheer in the collection - I am wearing three coats in the photos above, and there is still some visible nail line. A white coat base would get rid of that, and make that orange pop even more!
Next we have "Wanderlust:"
Wanderlust is a lovely baby blue with a subtle holographic shimmer and blue flakies.
Lastly we have "Wild Child:"
Wild Child is a brilliant purple based glitter bomb packed with various gold, purple, blue, red, etc. glitters!
The Ups: Nearly all of these were opaque in 2 coats!! And the dry time was excellent - under 5 minutes. Wanderlust had the thickest formula, but it still applied smoothly, and it evened out so very nicely.
The Downs: Application of Metanoia got a bit tricky sometimes when the flakies wanted to clump, but in my experience it's rare to find a flakie and glitter topper that DOESN'T do that in some way.
Overall: I'm very impressed with this collection!! Bellaluna is a fairly new indie, and you can tell she has made some fantastic improvements in her polishes' formulas and whatnot. I love how unique this collection is, and how all the colors flow nicely together and just scream SUMMER! It's really a great collection!
You can purchase the entire 15ml full-sized collection for $34.00 HERE, or you can purchase the 5ml mini size collection for $15.50 HERE. Individuals in mini and full size are also available and you can find them through the links provided above with the swatch photos.
What do you think of this collection? Any tickle your fancy more than the rest?
