It's still hot, FYI. We'll just leave it at that, I feel like I'm beating a dead horse.
Today I've got the October birthstone polish by Bellaluna Cosmetics to show you! It's called "Fauxpal" and it's based off the Opal birthstone.
Fauxpal is a sheer white packed with large solid white flakies and tons and tons of rainbow shimmer - it very much resembles an opal! Despite the larger flakes, this still applied quite smoothly and evened out with each layer. I am wearing three coats in the photos above with a topcoat for added shine and to really make that rainbow shimmer pop! Because the formula is a tad thicker in order to keep the flakies suspended and not falling to the bottom, this did take a little longer to dry, and also dried to a very light texture. However, a quick-dry topcoat (in this case, Pahlish's Magic Mirror) smoothed everything out, and I was able to do normal things with no damage to the polish after 10 minutes of dry time.
You can get this beauty at Bellaluna's new shop HERE. You can also follow the Facebook Page and Instagram for updates on current and upcoming releases.
What do you think of this polish? Are you an October baby, or a fan of opals?

Frenzy Polish "Arctic Fox"
After the week I just had, this is exactly how I feel.
Quick post for you today showing you the gorgeous Facebook custom polish I ordered from Frenzy Polish a little bit ago called "Arctic Fox."
Oh look at me and my fancy macro self :P
Arctic Fox is such a gorgeous frosty blue with a holographic effect and full of holographic glitters. This polish is just perfection, I couldn't be happier with a custom! I'm glad I snagged one before they were all gone. I am wearing two coats in the photos with the Frenzy Polish topcoat. The gems are from Ali Express.
You can join the Facebook Fan Group for sneaky peaks at upcoming collections, and for more opportunities to snag a group custom! You can also follow the brand's Facebook page and Instagram :)
What do you think of this polish? Do you own any Frenzies?

MTK's Creepy Niece
***Press Sample***
People used to joke about this before we moved down here, and I just thought they were being funny. They, uh...they weren't. It's absolutely true.
I'm still excited though, because while it may not feel like the Fall everyone else experiences, it is cooler than 100 effing degrees - I'll take it! And I get to start decorating my house for Halloween soon!! :D
Speaking of Halloween, I have a polish to show you today that would be perfect for the holiday!! This one is called "Creepy Niece" by MTK Polish, and it is awesome!!
As you can see from the pics, Creepy Niece is a light green-to-dark-olive thermal polish with a purple shimmer, and it also glows in the dark!! Opaque in 3-4 coats (depending on how thick you apply), and it dries to a shiny finish. I used a specialty black crackle topcoat by Barry M for the tips in this mani :)
Creepy Niece will only be available for the next few months - it will be retired by the end of the year. So now would be an excellent time to pick one up for yourself :D You can purchase Creepy Niece HERE, and browse the store to check out the other awesome polish HERE. You can also follow the brand's Facebook page and Instagram for updates on new polishes!
What do you think of this polish? Does it remind you of a good Fall/Halloween polish, too? :)

Creative Cuticles Fire & Ice Duo
***Press Sample***
You will never watch the Hunger Games again without giggling the first time Katniss yells "PEETA!" I chortle, every time.
Creative Cuticles Nail Polish released her "Fire & Ice" duo today, based off the characters Katniss and President Snow from the Hunger Games series. I was fortunate enough to be able to swatch them - and it was uber exciting to do so, because the Hunger Games series is one of my absolute favorites!!! It's what finally got me into pursuing archery ^_^
First up I'll show you "Snow" of the duo:
I, uh...I don't paint flowers very well. That's supposed to be a white rose, since that is a very prominent symbol of Snow throughout the films (perhaps the books, too- still have to read them).
"Snow" is a jelly packed with turquoise and holographic glitters. I am wearing two coats over a white base in the photos above - in the macro, the jelly looks more turquoise than it is in real life. I added a layer of KBShimmer Clearly On Top over the nails with Snow. I used Zoya's matte velvet topcoat over the nail with the rose.
And here is the Katniss inspired "Ablaze:"
Didn't like my rose so much that I shot an arrow through it and set it on fire.
Ablaze is an orange jelly with gold/orange micro glitters/flakies. This is two coats over a white base in the photos above with a layer of KBShimmer's Clearly On Top.

This duo is available for purchase at $8.75 each HERE - be sure to enter code FIREICE at checkout for the collection price if you want both :) You can also follow the Creative Cuticles Instagram for more swatch photos and teasers of upcoming releases!
What do you think of this duo? Are you a Hunger Games fan (book and/or movies)?
