Bellaluna's Royal Heirloom

***Press Sample***

Raise your hand if this is you today, because this is definitely going to be me *yawns.* (And yes, I am aware today is Tuesday :P )

To stave of a case of the Tireds, I have another lovely birthstone polish to show you from Bellaluna Cosmetics!  This is her September one, and it is called Royal Heirloom:

Royal Heirloom is a sapphire blue jelly packed to the brim with iridescent blue and micro sapphire hex flakies.  Opaque in two generous coats, it dries to a mostly shiny finish, though I added an extra layer of KBShimmer's Clearly On Top to really bring out the sparkle in those flakies.  This is definitely in my top 3 favorites of her birthstone polishes!

Royal Heirloom is available now HERE at $9.50 for the 15ml full size.  And here are the shop's social links:

What do you think?  Any September baby's here? :D

Polish sent to me by the maker for photography and review purposes.  All experiences with the polish are my own and remain 100% honest.

*Press Release* (Part 2): KBShimmer "Men are from Mars-ala" Swatches

***PRESS SAMPLE***

I hope you all had a lovely weekend!  I was one of those silly people out shopping and taking advantage of mega discounts on all the Christmas stuff :P  Hey, it's how I got my 6ft tree this year for 70% off last year ;)

You may remember a post I wrote up on the 18th about a new polish from KBShimmer based on Pantone's Color of the Year "Marsala."  I received the polish the day after Christmas, and oh my wow, it is a STUNNER!!!

"Men are from Mars-ala" is an absolutely gorgeous color, and the linear holographic effect is astounding - not only is is super eye-catching outdoors, but it is just as stunning indoors!  Take a look at the photos below:
Outdoors

Indoors

The application was super smooth and even, with no dragging or streaking.  It took only 2 thin coats to be completely opaque, and dried in under 5 minutes to a lovely shiny finish (shown in the photos above).  Wear time is impressive with this polish, too, as I had no chipping or wear at the tips for the 3 days I had it on!  As a stay-at-home-mommy, it's always nice to find a polish that will stand up to the various chores and mommy duties in my day :)

If you're not-so-into the holographic goodness of this polish, this is what it looks like with a matte topcoat:

Adding the matte topcoat helps the overall color of "Men are from Mars-ala" stand out a bit more, since the holographic effect is so strong.  It becomes a really lovely, soft neutral shade.

I have nothing bad to say about this polish - it's just perfect!  KBShimmer hit it out of the ballpark with "Men are from Mars-ala."  This gorgeous polish will be available for purchase January 1st at the company's website here.  Believe me, you don't want to miss this one!

I'm curious to know - which do you prefer?  Are you a Must-Holo-All-The-Things! kind of person (like me), or do you prefer the more subtle, rich look of the matte topcoat?

*NOTE: This polish was sent to me for swatches and a review. However, my opinion is 100% honest and in no way swayed.  Links in my post are NOT affiliate (i.e. I get no kickback when you click on them).  I simply provide them for your convenience :)

Indoors

Silver Bells is a gorgeous metallic silver chrome holographic polish.  It applies super smooth - opaque in 2 coats, though I am wearing 3 thin coats in the photos.  The polish dries in under 5 minutes to a shiny finish.  It's an absolutely beautiful polish and is one that, while it is very suitable for the season, can be worn year-round.  The wear time is really good with this color, too - 3 days and no chipping or tip-wear!  Love it!

I was inspired to do some quick nail art for this polish ^_^

It's just so lovely - definitely my new favorite silver chrome polish!! :D
