HPB Presents: Dusty/Muted Colors

Boy am I squeezing this one in at the last minute!

Hobby Polish Bloggers, a fantastic group on Facebook for nail polish bloggers, has put together a link-up this month with the theme "Dusty/Muted Colors."  You all know how crazy I am about things like holo and flakies and everything sparkly shiny, so I got a little nervous thinking about what the hell I could do for my mani.  I mean, did I even own a "dusty/muted" polish??

Then my husband kindly reminded me it could still be sparkly, but be a dusty/muted color.  And that made it easier :P  Here were my weapons of choice:

And here is the mani I created:

The base polish is Mystery Holo #4 "Dangerous Woman" by Different Dimension stamped with "You Are My Symphony" by MPolish using images from The Pro XL plate 03 by MoYou London.  I fully admit I LOVE how this turned out :D  Loooooooooove it!

What do you think?  Would you consider this Dusty/Muted?  You can say no - you won't be able to see my dagger eyes glaring at you through my computer screen :P  I'm such a stinker. ^_^

Be sure to check out the other gorgeous manis in the link-up below!!

To Have and To Holo

***Press Sample***

Monday.

Source: Here

Let's not dwell on the downers - let's talk instead about an absolutely amazing new stamping polish from M Polish called "To Have and To Holo."

Oh yes, no poop about it - this is a HOLOGRAPHIC STAMPING POLISH.  Not a holographic nail polish that just happens to stamp - oh no.  This baby is a holo STAMPING polish, and let me tell you, it's just as impressive as previous M Polish stampers - but more stunning, and good for the soul, because it's Holoooooooooooooo!!!

LOOK AT IT!!!!!!!!!

Pardon me while I wipe the drool off my face.

Sun shot - the Holo Gods are pleased with this one.

I just...I can't even, this polish is just perfect.  Easy application, smooth, transferred with no trouble - at this point, it's the same old song and dance as all other M Polishes.  Perfection <3

For my mani I did a base of Orly "Teal Unreal" and stamped over it using an image from my MoYou London Pro Plate 05.  The charm on my middle finger is from Ali Express, and I added the peacock feather behind it - I have a bunch from a farmer that has a free-range roamin' peacock on her property.

Seriously, if you don't want this polish, we need to have a chat...in a room, with a professional, like a therapist.  Or a neurologist.

Currently, To Have and To Holo is out of stock, but according to the update on the shop's page, after pre-orders are all finished shipping out, she is hoping to re-stock by the end of the month, which is like two weeks away.  You can like the Facebook Page or (better yet) join the Fan Group for more updates on this polish and future polishes.

So...you're getting this, right??

Smokey Mountain Lacquers Stamping Polish

***Press Sample***

Good morning, and happy Sunday to you!  I hope you've had a lovely weekend so far :)  This morning I want to share with you the brand new stamping polish collection just released by Smokey Mountain Lacquers!  I gotta tell you, these are some absolutely stunning colors!!!  Let's dive right in :D

*Note: I used my MoYou London Sailor Plate 07 for all the stamping designs you'll see.

First up to show you is: Aqua Blue

Next up is: Hot Pink

Next we have: Orange

Next up is: Grape

Here we have: Aqua/Teal

And lastly is: Yellow

Overall, these stampers worked great!!  I found a more squishy stamper head yielded the best, cleanest results.  The colors of each polish showed up nicely!  I was worried about Grape and Orange and first, as they seemed to have the thinnest formula of the set, but they came out just fine :)  I love these bright, summery colors!

If you want to add some of these to your stash, you can purchase the full-size 15ml set for a discounted price of $39.90 here, or individually for $7.00 each here.  These are not available in a mini size, only full size.

You can follow Smokey Mountain Lacquers via Facebook, the Facebook Fan GroupTwitter, and Instagram for updates on upcoming releases.  She's got some fizzy bombs in the works, as well as a monthly box, so I'd definitely stay tuned!

What do you think of these polishes?  Any color stand out most to you?

MPolish Metallic Collection

***Press Sample***

Howdy folks!!  Today I've got 4 of the 6 new metallic stamping polishes just released by M Polish to show you!

First up is "Guilded:"

Guilded is a lovely gold metallic, shown here stamped over Zoya "Kierra" using an image from my MoYou London Geek plate 05.

Next we have "Bronze:"

Bronze is as its name suggests and is shown over Zoya "Hunter" using images from MoYou London Geek plate 03 and hand placed watch parts.

Next is "Baroque:"

Baroque is a lovely deep burgundy metallic shown over watermarbled "Bells of Ireland" and "Snowberry" (also by MPolish) and stamped using an image from Pueen plate 73.

Lastly we have "Iron:"

Iron is a dark silver/iron metallic polish shown (along with Guilded on the ring finger) over Pretty & Polished's "Sea Spray" using the Gallifreyan image from MoYou London Geek Plate 05.

I am never disappointed when using these stamping polishes - they are so ridiculously easy to work with!  I love that they cooperate with more than just one kind of stamper, as well.

There are six polishes in total (not shown is Copper, a penny colored metallic, and Elizabethan, a dark brown metallic).  You can purchase them individually at $9.50 for the 15ml full size, or $3.25 for the 5ml mini size.  You can also purchase the whole set for $54.00 for the 15ml full size, or $18.00 for the 5ml mini size.

What do you think of these?  Do you own any MPolish stamping polishes?
